What to Expect
As a new client to our facility, we hope that you find Tall Pines Chiropractic warm and welcoming. There is plenty of convenient parking as well as a friendly staff ready to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to greeting every patient by name and with a smile.
If you have already completed your intake paperwork, great! If not, after doing so you will sit down with and discuss your concerns and health goals.
Initial Examination
The purpose of this visit is to look deeper into your case and see if chiropractic is the right answer for you. If it looks promising, we continue on with the exam. The remainder of the exam consists of spinal scans and X-rays (if needed). The spinal scans look for nerve irritation and muscle imbalances. These will be explained more in depth during the exam so you understand why we are doing the procedures mentioned above. The remark we hear from our practice members the most is that we are very thorough and high-tech.
After the exam is completed, patients will then be adjusted and any necessary muscle work will be performed.
Your Second Visit
After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to get you out of pain and back on the road to health. We call this the Report of Findings. Our report of findings is focused on making sure you understand exactly what is going on with you.
The Report of Findings
The educational portion of our report covers what chiropractic is and how it will help you. During the second portion of the report, your scans, analyzed x-rays (if taken) and treatment plan will be explained in full detail.
Your report is usually done on your second visit, which is usually later that week. In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Drs. Stanchuk, we make exceptions; it just depends on your unique situation.
